Hello out there in cyber land! I am new to the site, but have been a regular poster on another great baseball site that is currently undergoing some bumps in the road with a site upgrade.

I love to talk about baseball history, Hall of Fame players and future inductees, the St. Louis Cardinals (favorite from the crib to today), Texas Rangers (live in Central Texas), Boston Red Sox (my dad is from there), Baltimore Orioles (had a family of orioles nest in our yard every summer as a kid in Eastern Iowa, so I kinda adopted the team) and Minnesota Twins (lived withing walking distance of the Dome for 4-5 years).

I still play ball in an adult league down in Austin, TX. I am 37 and a retired Army NCO, and hadn't played ball in 21 years before the last spring/summer season there. I play 2B for the Austin Dodgers, though we were only 2-17-1! Still, I love the game, and the challenge of playing again after all these years!

So lets hit these boards here and talk about the rich history of this glorious game, the current players and teams, and debate the Hall of Fame! All the great things baseball fans love to do when we get a couple of us together!
