With 2008 right around the corner, what is your favorite 2007 Astro Moment(s)?

I would have to say mine was everything that happend with Biggio.

It was almost majestic how things turned out. My favorite though was his 3,000 and how everything turned out.

Do I have to pick just one? That's a tuffy. BGO's 3000 and the Purpura/Garner firing are my top 2.

I was kinda sad about Garner being fired especially since we have Cooper as our manager now. Cooper is the same manager as Garner. Garner just did not have the pieces to get things working. Oh well.

I have to agree with Holly. It's a tie between the 3000th hit and the last weekend. Both times I stood with my hand over my mouth and tears streaming down my face. And just to have witnessed a player of his caliber, his ethic, care so much about the fans. Brandon is right that it was a magical year for him. From the homerun on his special night to the grand slam it was all surreal. And I was a part of it and I'll never ever forget it. I don't think I can ever replace my avatar. I want to go back to the special one that JJ made for me, but I feel disloyal to Craig. Isn't that crazy? Gawd I want to meet him. I just want to tell him how much he means to me and that I admire the kind of man he is. He gave this whole city a good man to look up to. He is a role model for every young man in Houston. I wish every kid in the middle school where I teach knew about Craig and all that he has done -- the kind of man that he is.

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now.....
