Without question he deserves it. When you think of spectacular plays in CF, KG Jr. is a player that comes to mind, and when you think of sweet swings, he is one of the first that comes to mind. Having 600+ HR's doesn't hurt either.

Your right I just don't think he's even close to some other HOFers!

Hes absolutely going to be in the HOF...no person with over 600 homeruns isnt in the hall, and some may consider him the best CF ever.

Yea, I think he was looking at all the other statistics that Griffey Jr. has.

Carrer BA- .288
OBP- .373

But regardless, a man with 600 or more home runs will go into the hall of fame for sure, even if his BA is dipping below .275

Most definitely. He has worked hard over the years and definitely deserves it. And, as many people have said, Having 600+ Homers really helps.

So yes, Ken Griffey Jr. deserves a HOF spot.

Oh without question he deserves a spot in the hall. He is what 5th in career homers? He was an excellent player in his younger days.

I think if he was healthy throughout most of his career that wouldbe true. But I think You're forgetting about Willie Mays

He was arguably the second-best player of the 1990s. There is a weak argument for him being the best but, as much as it pains me to say it, that title likely belongs to Bonds.

I say yes - he was a tremendous defender and baserunner before injuries, and has one of the sweetest swings in the history of the game. His hitting resume speaks for itself.

He doesn't come close to Willie Mays but then no one can hold a candle to Mays overall. Griffey will be there with bells on. He won't be there for his BA but in spite of it.
