I'm watching the White Sox game since the Angels play them this weekend.

2-2 WSox vs Twins.

Angels offense has been money so far this series. Hopefully they pound Darvish tonight and set up for a 4 game sweep tomorrow.

I don't like Darvish, he is overrated.

Yup, he really is. I think it's starting to show as time goes by.

He cannot command all 35 of the pitches he throws. Here is what I don't get: Good pitchers, like Verlander and Weaver for example throw three or four pitches tops.

Like Weaver throws a curve, change, fastball. He has great command with all three pitches, but I think he has his best command with his fastball. He could throw it for a strike at anytime.

Verlander throws a curve, slider, fastball, and change up. His best pitch is his fastball -- and like Weaver -- he can throw it for a strike at will.

My point being: How is Darvish supposed to be effective when he has so many pitches and cannot throw any of them consistently for strikes? He needs to just focus on three or four and really harness his command.

Angels piss me off sometimes. They always make Darvish look good. Always swinging at balls, and not making him throw strikes.
