Here's the full deal:

I'm getting: Roy Oswalt, John Smoltz, Vladimir Guerrero

I'm giving: C.C. Sabathia, Mark Buehrle, Gary Sheffield, Jacoby Ellsbury


I feel that consolidating Sheff and Ellsbury (who I'm already pissed about due to Crisp still being around) into Vlad is a great move, leaving me with Vlad/Matsui/Milledge/Bourn in the outfield. And while C.C. down to Oswalt is a bit of a drop, I think that Smoltz will definitely make up for it. I like Buehrle, but I think I'm definitely getting the better end of this overall.


Anybody have thoughts on this? I'd love to know if I'm just crazy here, as I seriously think it's a great deal for me.

I think it's a very good deal for you.

My only real concern for you would be the loss of Ellsbury's speed - however, if you can cover that speed (with a couple of guys other than Bourn) then this is a steal.

You need to be starting Bourn, else you won't have many stolen bases at all.

With Bourn, though, you may be alright. Gordon and Renteria should steal between 15 and 20 bases each, and Milledge could throw in 10. I, personally, would try to trade Adrian Gonzalez for some more speed.

Not a bad idea. I'll certainly look into the possibility.

EDIT: Oh, and Bourn will probably get the nod over Milledge on most days. I left Yunel Escobar off of my roster accidentally, as well...
