Hi, I'm mostly a FF guy but thought I'd give baseball a try. 10 team 5x5 roto all MLB. Do you feel there is anyone that should be waived right away because they will never be productive this season? Any players that may be available that are better than what I have? Thanx in advance and don't be afraid to be critical, I am just learning anyway.

Melvin Mora is fairly mediocre and will likely never see any playing time for your team - he'll only produce middling numbers in four categories (avg, r, hr, rbi) and offers nothing in steals.

Chris Carpenter is out until July, at best - I'd consider dumping him for most anyone.

You may want to look for another closer - you only have Gagne, who is a question mark, and BJ Ryan, who is an even bigger question mark. Look for Joakim Soria, Matt Capps, Tony Pena, or Brandon Lyon (the latter two of which are battling for the D'Backs closing job).

I don't like Capuano, Mussina, or Zito - all have fairly high WHIPs and don't offer much in strikeouts - see if you could pawn them off somewhere for more well-rounded starters.

Depending on what you can get, I would try and trade Jason Bay. He's been in decline and bit and with some injuries and constant aching, he might not be a great option.

Also when it comes to pitching, Mussina and Zito aren't the way to go. I have no clue what pitchers are available for you to pick-up, but a couple names that name done well that I picked up in my fantasy league include Micah Owings and Edison Volquez.

Get rid of Weeks, Overbay, and Andruw Jones
