my son and I are planning a road trip to the US this summer to visit the redsox, cubs, whitesox, indians, tigers and pirates.

2 quick questions:
1) when will redsox tickets go on sale for the 15-17 august series vs New York
2) apart from the redsox, do any other teams sell out and therefore necessitate getting tickets in advance

I have no idea when the redsox tickets go on sale. I know the Giants sell out every game, I'm serious; every single one. I think the Tigers have a chance of selling out, so you may want to buy those in advanced. I wouldn't worry too muc about the indians or pirates, but the Whitesox tickets may sell out if you don't buy them in advance.

It's always smart to buy them in advance, because some days ball parks won't sell tickets before the game, and/or if they do they run out fast.
