Yankees Yankee Farweels: Ibanez and Swisher say their Goodbyes

The Yankees will be wiping the tears off fans soon enough, as Raul Ibanez and Nick Swisher both finalized their contracts, sending them elsewhere than New York.

Yankees General Manager, Brian Cashman, has been known for his meritorious deals occurring in the off-season, such as the unheralded snag of the much needed Hiroki Kuroda in January of last year. Cashman also also made sly moves that helped the signing of players like Bartolo Colon, Freddy Garcia, and Eric Chavez -- all key factors to the Yankees roster.

Cashman also signed Raul Ibanez and Nick Swisher, both whom played below average their past season.
