I agree with your number 1 pick. Although losing the World Series is nothing to boast about, you have to remember they got there! The Tigers won the pennant! It would have been nice to win the World Series, of course ... but hey, Tigers fans and players should look forward to. And, like you said, sweeping the Yankees is no little thing, either.

I'm with you on that one, Kelzzy. I was disappointed when the Tigers lost the WS, particularly because they got swept, but I reminded myself that it wasn't just another game, it was the WORLD SERIES!
Miggy's Triple Crown came a close second; what a great achievement!

Good Stuff, but please, "reminisce" is what I do about the 1950's and 1960's... To me at least, this past - GRRRRREAT Tiger Season - doesn't qualify for "reminiscing" for a good decade or two... That said, again "Good Stuff"...
