Time to Panic?
While it may be too early in the season to read terribly far into things, I would be quite nervous if I were a Tigers fan.
The Royals, though much improved over recent years, have held the vaunted Tigers offense to four runs on thirteen hits over the first two games of the season.
More worrisome, though, was the poor start by Verlander, and the bullpen's inability to succeed - in 8 innings, seven relievers have combined to allow 9 hits, 6 walks, 3 earned runs, and allowing 2 inherited runners to score.
I do not mean for this to be baiting, or anything of the sort - I just found it quite surprising, and was curious to see what others thought.

Yeah, so far the Tigers have had a bad start. However, let's not jump to conclusions. Maybe later, if they continue playing like we have been, then we can write them off.

They still have 159 chances to redeem themselves, we'll be fine.

I think they just had a bad series, it happens to the best of them. If you ask me in about a month or two, and they still playing the same, then I would change my tune.

I'm not trying to jump to conclusions - I was just curious to see how long it would take for 'panic mode' to begin.
The Tigers top three starters (Verlander, Rogers, and Bonderman) struggled against a middling offense, the bullpen was very unimpressive, and the offense looked shaky. Throw in injury concerns for Granderson and Sheffield and, well, I'd be somewhat concerned if I were a Tigers fan.
I'm not saying that doom-saying should begin - there's an entire season to play.

I would be scared, too, if I were a Tigers fan. Kitty's right, though. Let's not panic yet, let's give them a while. If nothing else, Pudge will break the record for all-time games caught this season.

^ Make that 0-6, come on Tigers get that monkey off your back and get a win! Once they get a W they may get back on the right track.

It's 0-7 now, what is going on in Tiger land?
It's early in the season, so they have time to turn things around.
