But if this Chicken Soup For The Motor City Soul is going to have a happy ending, the Tigers are going to have shore up their defense and find a way to generate more offense after losing Game 3 of the World Series 5-0 on Tuesday night.
"We're struggling right now," said Pudge Rodriguez, who spells "struggling" with 0 for the World Series and 0 for his last 23 postseason at-bats. "I know I'm struggling. What can I say? I have to come out (tonight) and try to wait for a good pitch to hit. I have to try to not put pressure on myself and just go out and try to have fun."
