Burning questions as the Tigers and Cardinals wipe off their hands and prepare to tangle in Game 3 of the World Series tonight at Busch Stadium
Q . How will the Tigers adapt to National League rules, with no designated hitter, when they shift sites tonight?
A . Nate Robertson no doubt would just as soon leave the hitting duties to someone else. Apart from pitchers stepping to the plate, playing in a no-DH game is not that big of a deal and, in any event, it's nothing the Tigers haven't faced before, thanks to interleague play. It creates more managing moves for Jim Leyland, absolutely. But having managed a couple thousand games in the National League, Leyland has a pretty good handle on double-switches and knowing when to pinch-hit for a pitcher.
Q . How will the Tigers' lineup change during the next three games in St. Louis?
