Controversy or no controversy, the Tigers have washed their hands -- so to speak -- of being patient with those still wondering how they got this far.

In fact, with two tough Cardinals pitchers in Chris Carpenter and Jeff Suppan coming up in games 3 and 4 of the World Series, the Tigers might already have found a way to turn the Kenny Rogers hand controversy into motivation.

And to be truthful, it would be just like this team to do that.
