The last baseball book I read was a couple of years ago called "National Pastime: How Americans Play Baseball And the Rest of the World Plays Soccer". I liked it, it may be for those of you that like history and baseball.

I am reading 'The Darkest Minds' by Alexandra Bracken.. it's pretty good, and makes you think and predict.

I am currently reading Robert Whiting's "You Gotta Have Wa" and it has been very entertaining to say the least.

Wa means harmony is Japanese, and they believe that team harmony is very important. It is a look at Japanese cultural view on baseball and how different it is from Americans baseball philosophy. Basically, Japanese are group oriented and opposed to individualism, which is a characteristic that many Americans appear to possess.

This book will only appeal to a small number of forum members!
Since I've not been a baseball fan all my life, it's providing me with lots of facts and trivia about my chosen team that I might never have discovered otherwise.
