So.. I was making electricity with a bike tire.. and before you say it, yes, rubber can conduct electricty, just barely, and poorly, though.
Anyway, it was working! I had a conductor up top, and my hair was getting pulled up. Very cool indeed. But than I had to go, so when I tried to slow down the wheel, I made the boneheaded mistake of putting my finger on the chain wheel (You know, the part that doesn't move and is really spiky).. yep, well, it cut my finger open. Hurt like a b*tch!
