Hey guys, I want to buy an A-Rod jersey for my little brother to xmas but I'm not sure if I should choose a men's or a youth jersey??? He's 15y, 168cm/5'6", skinny body type.
I asked the costumer service and they said i should choose men's medium, but that's my size and I'm 182cm/6' and have a normal body type.

Is there such a big difference between t-shirt and jersey size?

You should get the men's size. Youth are practically for 8 years old.. no matter how big you go. There is a youth XL, but that will not fit anybody over 12 years old.. unless you are very very small. Like, under 5 feet tall and only 80 pounds.

I would say the Medium size would fit him, but you could try a large. I take it as this is going to be a surprise, so you can't have him try it on. So, just go with the Adult Medium. It's probably going to fit.

There's a big difference in shirt and jersey size. The biggest one is: Jerseys don't shrink when you put them in the washer. So you can get the size just right.

It's really likely that the medium will fit, but if it doesn't, you can always return it and get a different size.
