Default Will Indians rid of C.C Sabathia?

Do you guys think that the Indians will do what the Twins are doing for Santana, and get rid of Sabathia while they can profit from it?

Maybe.. since he's a F.A after the upcoming season. His value is at his highest point right now after getting the cy young.

Default C.c.

No, i don't think the tribe will get rid of C.C. He's been there the longest without leaving out of anyone on the team. He seems to be a leader and a mentor to young pitchers like perez carmona and mastney. Management seems to like him so I think he will be resigned for a big deal. Plus, the tribe needs him.

I don't think they will. For one main reason.

Starting pitcher health is a very volatile thing. It's hard to give a contract to any starting pitcher for an extended period of time. Clubs are also usually more prone to give out more money and less years then more years.

If you look at C.C's body type (overweight), I don't see a team who rarely signs anybody to a long-term deal sign a starting pitcher with weight problems to a long-term contract. Personally, I feel C.C is another Bartolo Colon in the making.

It will be a lot harder to make the playoffs, and even harder to win a playoff series without CC. I wouldn't be surprised if the Indians kept him and tried signing him for $20 mil less or something and lose him for nothing in the offseason
