Will the Indians sign C.C?
In the past the Indians have spent money even though they are a smaller market. I wouldn't put them in the same class as the A's or Marlins who groom great players and then trade them or let them go. However they are not New York or Boston.
Barry Zito signed a ridiculous deal with the Giants and I am hearing that Santana may get 20 mil a year with a new contract. If that is true than I would have to say that C.C is worth that same amount. I don't believe the Indians will pay that and I don't know if the hometown discount will be low enough for him to stay.
So do you think the Indians will sign him?
If not will they trade him by the deadline?
