Travis Hafner knew what the X-rays didn't.
Hafner's instincts were confirmed Saturday when the Indians designated hitter's record-setting season ended because of a hairline fracture in his right hand. The initial X-rays, taken at Ameriquest Field in Arlington, Texas, right after the injury, didn't show the break.
