Game One- Johnny Cueto (1-0) vs Jeff Suppan (1-0)
Overview: This was another impressive game for Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto. In his second major league game he pitched 6.1 innings allowing 5 hits on two earned runs but getting an impressive 8 strike outs. All but a couple singles in the third inning left the game at a 1-0 battle of pitching. Patterson hits in Votto in the seventh to tie things up but the call is answered right back when Hall leads off the 7th for the Brewers with a homerun to left center. Dissapointing for Reds fans knowing that the 8th inning last year was the worst inning we had by far and 9th you look for a saving grace. Bottom 9th though the call is answered with two outs and two strikes Corey Patterson knocks one out of the park sending it to extra innings!! And thats where it ended as David Weathers came in and had another horrible inning this year allowing the go ahead run in the bottom of the tenth!

Great game though besides that!
Red's Notable Player: Corey Patterson! His two RBI's really kept us in this one...
Game Two- Josh Fogg (0-1) vs Dave Bush (0-1)
Overview: 12-4!!! And improvements from Fogg...there's not much else you can say about this routing. Everyone got involved in this game and the bullpen came in and really stepped up. Lincoln had another good outing and Kent Mercker is having a great season returning to the majors. Here's a run down of who all got some in this game...Patterson (2), Freel (1), Griffey (1), Dunn (3), Keppinger (2), Hatteberg (1), Valentin (1)
Red's Notable Players: Let just give this one to the whole Reds lineup...great job boys!!
Game Three- Aaron Harang (0-1) vs Carlos Villanueva (1-0)
Overview: Going into this one worried me...with a series tied 1-1 and Harangs subpar pitching this year I'm sure you could understand. But we had a chance to take our third straight series (obviously the only 3 this season) and we took it baby!! Hardy got us again early in the game knocking in a run in the second. All reds from then on out though...a Bako rbi, Encarnacion 2 run homerun, and another Bako rbi sealed the deal. Harang got his first win and Cordero gets credit for the save...that's how its suppose to be! Reds take the series and Bring on Pitt!!
Red's Notable Players: Paul Bako and Edward Encarnacion. Both have had walk offs this season already and despite down numbers by Edward these two really rose to the occasion today.
