Reds Recent injuries
Juan Castro on the 15-day disabled list was a champ and stepped in on an emergency call to play in Thursdays game vs the Brewers. He has a partially torn ligament and was suppose to be thinking about possible surgery options.
Rookie Pedro Lopez was hit by a fastball in Wednesdays game...the pitch broke his left cheek bone.
Alex Gonzalez is out due to personal issues but may return for the Cubs series. We wish him and his family the best.
David Ross is still out with that dislocated finger but if Valentin keeps pulling out wins like the other night he may be out longer than just for the finger.
Josh Hamilton could be back next week sometime recovering from his sprained right wrist.
And last but not least rising pitcher Homer Bailey was out throwing again on Thursday. His groin injury will just be a matter of time before we see him back in Cincinnati. (Currently with Louisville since the all-star break)
Were still playing some decent ball lately but I would love to have all of these guys back!!

When you play this game 20 years, go to bat 10,000 times, and get 3,000 hits, you know what that means? You've gone 0 for 7,000. ~Peter Edward Rose
