First game recap:
So first game of the series with a little help from Valentine letting one get out of his mitt we lose in the bottom of the 9th. The bull pen let us down again. It was actually a really good game but we lost it in what seems to be in typical Reds fashion. ON a bright note in the night Coutlangus pitched a very nice last inning...he did give up the winning run to Taguchi, after 9 or 10 pitches mind you. But he looked very composed out there and I think we'll see a lot of good things out of him.
Second game recap:
Let's just throw this out here real quick...our boy Arroyo (now 2-7)6 IP, 9 H, 6 R/ER, and allowed 2 HR. The only even minor bright spot in his performance was the 5 SO. But even so what the hell has happened to him this year? I know he's lost a few close ones to some good teams but he is better than than. Another dissapointing loss for our Reds...
Your not greedy Brian...you do need the sweep...maybe we'll be generous and give it to you. haha
