Jayson Stark of ESPN.com reports that the Cardinals have been offering teams Kyle Lohse "if they can get back the right package."

Lohse has gone 12-3 with a 3.68 ERA after signing a one-year deal this offseason and Stark speculates that the Cardinals don't feel they can re-sign the Scott Boras client. With Chris Carpenter back and Adam Wainwright close to returning St. Louis has gained some rotation depth, but dealing Lohse would still be a big surprise.
