The second half of the Cubs’ dismal season resumed Friday much like the first half went — another loss and more speculation about Dusty Baker’s future as manager.
The Cubs saw their three-game winning streak end with a 6-3 loss to the Mets. It drops them 21 games under .500 and left fans wondering if — or is it when? — Baker’s tenure as manager will end.
