The Boston Red Sox have signed Bartolo Colon to a minor-league deal. Any chance this guy can regain his Cy Young form of old?

I don't think he'll be healthy enough to regain cy young form.

I doubt he'll make the Opening Day roster. He seemed washed up to me in 2006, after he stole Johan Santana's CY Young in 2005. He's an insurance policy in case Buccholz or Lester falters early on while Schilling rehabs. I dunno that this makes the Sox any better, but it gives them depth if Schilling cannot come back and be effective down the stretch.

It will be nice to just have him as a member of a bullpen if needed sometime during the season.

he will definatley not be the cy young pithcher he was a couple of years ago but he will be a good no.5 starter maybe he might give you a dozen wins on a good year when he doent get injured
