I'd say we don't trade either of them. We already have a good roatation and do not NEED Johan. I'm thinking for the future, as in when Manny and Ortiz move on from their current numbers we should use these guys (or if some other prospects) to trade for hitting. And who knows maybe these two will fill the holes that will be left when our current stars age catches up to them.

I dont really care for this situation anymore,it's gone on long enough just to say sit back and see wat happens instead of hyping over it.

one moment the sox are touching grounds with him and the next they are reaching for him.

personally, i don't care about Johan so much as to knowing that the Sox practically have the best rotation in the majors hands downa dn maybe if they fall short; things can turn around.

an example would be the trade deadline. For next season.

(Let's just hope we dont have any curses with Gagne)

Yea... yankees have a good rotation? Funny.

1. Wang-- good during the season, but hes not an ace and never will be. Showed he isn't ready to last year in the playoffs
2. Pettit-- Work horse, I'll give you that. He's good, and he'll get you 15 wins this season. He's not an Ace.
3. Mussina-- Too old, he fell apart last season. He's at the end of his career
4. Kennedy, Chamberlin, and Hughes-- Prospects, thats it. Chamberlin is going to be good eventually but not quite sure if hes going to be a good starter. He is a damn good setupman, but he doesnt have enough experience.

Red Sox:
1. Becket-- Ace. The largest thing that the Red Sox have, that the Yankees do not. The yankees need to get an Ace in order to compete with the other clubs, until then they are not going to win a world series. Mariners, Indians, Angels, Redsox, and even the BlueJays have an Ace caliber pitcher.
2. Dice-K-- Only going to get better now that hes transitioned to the U.S. Last year he was solid and thats what you can expect from a #2 guy.
3. Wakefield-- 10+ seasons averaging 15wins a season @ #3 starter? I'll take it. Inning eater as well.
4. Lester-- No longer a prospect, he has proven that he can pitch at the major league level. He will be even better this season as he is getting his strength back from chemo
5. Bucholz-- Prospect, LOTS of potential.
6+ Tavarez, Snyder, Schilling, Colon, Masterson. All players who will probably be able to step up at some point during the season to provide depth.

Bullpen: Is the true bane of the yankees existance. Other than your closer, and Chamblerlin (at whatever role they decide to use him in), you have no bullpen.
Red Sox: Pap, Oki, DelCarmen, Timlin, Snyder, and we have Kalb, and Bryan Corey (promising bullpen prospect, was very effective at the end of last season) coming in.

I am not one to play mental baseball, but on paper the RedSox are much better than the Yankees. Needless to say, I think the RedSox pitching staff will be the first pick in every fantasy league this season.
