Default Opinion on Gabbard and Gagne deal

This may seem a bit odd only becuz it was a while ago, but wat if the Sox never made the deadline betweeen Gagne and Gabbard...cuz Gagne sux and Gabbard was on a roll, do you still think the Sox would have made the playoffs still, had a more or less winning percentage during the season, had a different point of view (as to the fact that Gagne blew games so bad), or even make the rotation better than ever?

You can never really complain about a trade if your team makes it to the World Series. If they lose, I guess there would be some conversation about it.

LOL sure ya can, because it wasnt like Gagne helped the sox win the series. He truly was a bust in Boston, and I am curious to whether he may have been damaged goods. On the bright side I think Gabbard willnever again be as valuable as the day he was traded, and Murphy would have been no better than a fourth outfielder in Boston. Neither were in the teams long term plans. Overall, No harm, No foul. Gagne got his ring, and we can part ways in peace.
