While I am surely disapointed that we couldn't even get 1 win I am encouraged that every games was close considering we started two mediocre pitchers in games 2 and 3.

Boston's supposed stellar top 3 was not all that impressive IMO.

Perhaps you didn't notice the IMO.....

The fact is, stats don't lie. Solid performances but nothing all that impressive considering people are talking like Boston has one of the best rotations in the MLB. If the Yanks pitch Wang and Mussina in place of the two rookies I am thinking NY wins 2 of 3.

Beckett...9 hits, 5 runs, ER 4, 7k's
Matsuzaka...8 hits, 6 runs, ER 6, 7k's

Certainly a impressive weekend by Boston none the less. I appluad the BSox for finding a way to win. Looking forward to the next 3 at Yankee stadium next weekend.

Yes...Wang is scheduled to pitch Tuesday...meaning he should pitch Sunday probably.

seeing the Orioles sweep the Blue Jays completely made my weekend but after seeing the Red Sox sweep the Yankees last night it even started my week off on a great note
