Red Sox owners and general manager Theo Epstein met with the media Tuesday, largely to seek ways to improve an often tumultuous relationship with the press.

Epstein, in particular, seemed open to making himself more available this offseason, almost a year after concerns over privacy played a significant role in his controversial - and temporary - decision to step down as GM.
