I was praying that he would continue his slide this last game (he even had an error!! with the remote hope that somehow we could pull off some sort of deal for him! That would be sweet if would could get him for cash and the Yankees had to subsidize part of his $25M contract!!

Any deal would have to include Manny so you Sox fans just forget about it it ain't happening. Maybe if Manny was 5 years younger and we didn't have a logjam at 1B, DH and LF. It might be something worth exploring then, but for now.... never in a million years.

Yanks would never go after Bonds, we have enough 1 dimensional players on this roster. Cashman is smart enough not to touch him. The Red Sox have no need for Barry's services either.
