All I got to say is wow. A World Series caliber season down the drain. I mean we had so much potential and we just lost it. This is a joke and don't even get me started on Manny. I have lost so much respect for that peice of shit. He is a quitter and a sore loser. Let me tell you something, if Manny wanted to play he could but he doesn't want to. I am calling it now, Manny for Nomar. We need the real Red Sox.

Realistically, the Sox weren't going to catch the Yankees after the 5 game sweep, Nor were they going to make the wildcard. Call him a quitter and all, but once they got swept at home the Sox were finished. Epstein knew, Manny knew, Red Sox Nation knew it. The Yanks were a battered bunch aswell, practically the whole season. We were never able to field our complete lineup and rotation all season long, and we were the ones who finished ahead of the Sox. It's not a Manny problem, look at your inconsistent rotation and how they fumbled a great opportunity to gain ground on the Yanks. Now they trade the only pitcher that showed some heart against the Yankees, lol... Theres always next year.

hold on! wells was injured for literally half of the year. he only started 8 times. he was almost a liablity when he is in the pen. and do u have to bring everything back to the yankees? i mean seriously, u dont come into the RED SOX forum and say how bad the yankees played but still managed to smash the AL east. its not right. and its the last thing bosox or any other sox fan wants to hear

i agree with some of what yanks is saying but it doesnt really matter....the yankees should win the world series almost every year with their pay roll...i think its kinda sad that they can go out and get whoever they want in the league and they still dont dominate their divsion....
