Though Alex Gonzalez's name appeared on the first version of the lineup card posted yesterday, Alex Cora was listed by the time the Red Sox took the field. After the game, Francona announced Gonzalez has a Grade 1 strain of his oblique muscle, and the team hoped that a few days off would heal the shortstop enough to get him back on the field. There is a definite possibility, however, that Gonzalez will make a trip to the disabled list. If that occurs, it would seem the perfect time for Dustin Pedroia to make his Red Sox debut. Pedroia is batting .306 with 50 RBIs at Pawtucket . . .
