As a Sox fan I would like to know if it is only me who was glad to see Damon go? I think the Sox offered him a great contract, but they made the decision not to over spend and instead they went out and got a player who will be more valuable and is just coming into his prime. I thought this whole situation and I am really excited about watching the "new Sox" and there style of play.
