TIGER STADIUM 1912

Here is a nice photo of shibe park the home of the philadelphia athletics.the stadium was named after the A's owner Ben Shibe.the national league philadelphia philles called shibe park home after they left baker bowl in the 1938 season. the stadium was renamed Connie Mack Stadium in the 1950s.it was torn down in the summer of 1976 after fires destroyed most of the stadium in 1971.the stadium closed after the 1970 baseball season.
