Default Sam Perlozzo fired

The Orioles have fired manager Sam Perlozzo. The Orioles new President Andy McPhail will interview Joe Giardi for the job today or tomorrow.

its not the managers fault here.

ANgelos should stop worrying about the nationals and worry about his own team

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he is the first manager to be fired this season. I think the Orioles have a lot of internal issues to take care of before they can even address any issues with the players.

While Kevin Millar was right, Sam did not hit, pitch, run or field, but he made a lot of bonehead decisions and had too much faith in players that weren't capable, and not enough faith in those that were. I'm sad to see him go because as he said he considers himself an Oriole, as do I, but at the same time I'm glad to see him out of the manager position. Scott, you are right, Angelos needs to worry about Baltimore. The Nats aren't taking a damn thing away from the O's. Especially not with their record. My personal opinion, Angelos is just like Irsay in the regard that he worries only about himself and not about the good of the team. They spent all that money in the offseason and for what? I've been saying it for months now, and I'll say it again...CAL, GET OUT YOUR CHECKBOOK, DUDE. BALTIMORE NEEDS YOU!!
