In two games for the Tigres del Licey, Napoleon Calzado batted .500 (4-for-8) to raise his playoff batting average to .333 (10-for-30). The 29-year-old outfielder also drove in three runs.
However, Calzado is still searching for his first extra-base hit of the postseason.

Dominican Winter League

Francis Beltran, RHP -- The 27-year-old did not pitch this week for the Tigres del Licey.

Fredy Deza, RHP -- The 24-year-old right-hander got the Azucareros del Este their first victory of the playoffs. Deza pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings, giving up five hits and a walk while striking out two, as the Azucareros are now 1-16 in the round-robin postseason tournament.

Eddy Garabito, 2B -- Garabito is hitting .182 with two RBIs in nine playoff games for the Azucareros.

Julio Manon, RHP -- Manon gave up one run on two hits over two innings for the Azucareros
