Wasted but not forgotten.
The Phillies bullpen wasted impressive efforts by Brett Myers and Pat Burrell and it’s a shame. Tim Worrell, who blew one in three save opportunities last year, was atrocious in relief as the Phils blew a 3-2 lead over the Nationals and fell by a final score of 7-3.
