On second thought, break up the front office instead.
I have come to the conclusion Charlie Manuel is a growing part of the Phillies’ problems. Why would he start Placido Polanco in left field instead of Jason Michaels? Is the manager so cowed by Polanco’s complaints about not being in the starting lineup that he would play him out of position when he has a genuine outfielder available? What else could be at work here?
