Braves pitcher Tom Glavine, who was drafted by the NHL out of high school, became sick and missed this morning's scheduled skate with the Thrashers.

Glavine was drafted in the second round by the Braves and the fourth round by the Los Angeles Kings. The Billerica, Mass., native once skated a practice with the Boston Bruins 15 years ago.
