no that wouldn't make any sense at all....they should have signed him now while he is still young but to a smaller amount of money

He got less than David Wright and many other young players of his age group.

I think it was a great move by ATL, he is a star on the rise and locking him up to that deal was a very good move. With his production already he is one of the games best catchers and by the time his deal is almost done and inflation is factored in this deal will look cheap.
