The Braves remained perfect for the homestand, beating the Pirates again by a run, 5-4. Last game of the 7-game homestand Monday afternoon. Much was the same: A close game. 8 innings for Smoltz. A shaky bullpen performance. Francour hitting well (2 for 4 with a double). Another pinch hit for the ageless wonder.
