Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks activated left- handed pitcher Randy Johnson off the 15-day disabled list after their 13-5 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.
Johnson will make his first start of the season against the San Francisco Giants on Monday.
The 44-year-old Johnson, who had offseason back surgery, owns 284 career victories in 20 major league seasons. In the first season of his second stint with Arizona, Johnson made just 10 starts last year, going 4-3 with a 3.81 ERA and 72 strikeouts.
