Default D-backs individual game tickets to go on sale Feb. 24

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that single game tickets for the 2007 season at Chase Field will go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. (MST) to kick off the organization's annual Fan Fest.

Fans wanting to purchase tickets in person at the Chase Field Ticket Office will be given wristbands and lottery numbers beginning at 7 a.m. There will be no advantage to "camping out" at the ballpark, as initial position lines will be established by drawing a single number and fans lining up sequentially from that number.

Fans can also purchase tickets beginning at 9 a.m. at dbacks.com or by calling 602.514.8400.

The popular Fan Fest is free for the public to attend and includes autographs and photos with current players and broadcasters and interactive games for children from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sports 620 KTAR, the radio home of the D-backs, will broadcast live from the Chase Field plaza and offer fans a chance to participate in question-and-answer sessions with Diamondbacks players and broadcasters. The Doug and Wolf Show, Gambo and Ash, 620 Sportsline reporter Dave Burns and D-backs broadcasters Greg Schulte, Tom Candiotti, Daron Sutton and Mark Grace will all interview D-backs players live on Sports 620 KTAR from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fans will also be able to call their own plays in the KTAR "You Make the Call" play-by-play booth.

Fans can listen to music at the D-backs Live Music Stage, with Mix 96.9 morning show host Chris Parker's band, The Chris Parker Project, performing their covers of hit songs from "today and yesteryear" from 12-1 p.m. Tim and Willy and the All Earl Band, featuring KNIX morning radio hosts Tim Hattrick and Willy D. Loon and voted the Arizona Republic's Best Country Band, will play their covers of country hits from 2-3 p.m.

Autograph sessions featuring current D-backs players will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Each session will consist of two players autographing one item per person for one hour and require a $5 donation to the Diamondbacks Foundation. Fans can pre-purchase autograph session vouchers at Gate A (sessions 1, 3, 5, 7) and Gate E (sessions 2, 4, 6, 8) beginning at 8 a.m.

Other D-backs Fan Fest highlights include:
• New D-backs merchandise featuring the new colors, available at the Team Shop (8 a.m.-3 p.m.)
• D-backs and baseball memorabilia, available at the Diamondbacks Foundation "Yard Sale" (8 a.m.-3 p.m.)
• Wiffle ball and children's interactive games at the Diamondbacks Training Centers Kids Zone (8 a.m.-3 p.m.)
• D-backs sales staff available to assist fans with season, suite or group ticket purchases
• MLB.com booth to assist fans with online navigation at dbacks.com
• Friday's Front Row serving complimentary breakfast food items, water and coffee along with free milk provided by the AZ Milk Producers (7-10 a.m.)
