Press Release: Schulte receives four-year contract extension from D-backs
PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that broadcaster Greg Schulte, who has been the radio play-by-play voice of the Diamondbacks since the team's inception, has signed a four-year contract extension through the 2011 season, according to D-backs President Derrick Hall.
"Greg is the voice of the Arizona Diamondbacks," Hall said. "The passion he has for the game and for this team comes through in every broadcast. We are very excited he will continue to be a major part of it for years to come."
All 162 D-backs games will be broadcast on Sports 620 KTAR in Phoenix and the Diamondbacks' radio network. Schulte will be joined by Tom Candiotti for his second season as radio analyst. Jeff Munn will also return as the pre- and post-game show host, as well as fill in as play-by-play announcer.
In addition to regular season games, The D-backs will broadcast 11 spring training games on the Diamondbacks' radio network.
