Pitcher Brandon Webb said he and infielder Andy Green will leave for Kentucky today after the loss of friend Jon Hooker, who died Sunday in a plane crash.

Webb said funeral services hadn't been arranged, but he and Green wanted to be there for the family.

The two players, teammates of Hooker's at the University of Kentucky, expect to meet the Diamondbacks in Washington on Friday in time for the start of a three-game series against the Nationals.
