Rob Plummer thought he had a talented new client, a Dominican youngster with a powerful right arm. This was six years ago in a town called San Francisco de Macoris, and Plummer, a young agent known for scouring Latin America for prospects, remembers it all vividly.
He remembers the boy telling him he was 15 years old and that his name was Adriano Rosario. But he also recalls everyone calling him "Tony."
