Default Time to Panic?

While it may be too early in the season to read terribly far into things, I would be quite nervous if I were a Tigers fan.

The Royals, though much improved over recent years, have held the vaunted Tigers offense to four runs on thirteen hits over the first two games of the season.

More worrisome, though, was the poor start by Verlander, and the bullpen's inability to succeed - in 8 innings, seven relievers have combined to allow 9 hits, 6 walks, 3 earned runs, and allowing 2 inherited runners to score.

I do not mean for this to be baiting, or anything of the sort - I just found it quite surprising, and was curious to see what others thought.
