Ensberg is a great bench presence - Ransom's ability to play shortstop is worthless, in my opinion.
If Jeter goes down in-game either Rodriguez or Betemit can fill in... if Jeter's goes down for an extended period of time then the Yankees will need someone better than Ransom to play short, anyway.
