BlueClaws Announce First Wave of '08 Promotions
LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Lakewood BlueClaws, class- A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, have announced their first wave of promotions for the 2008 season. While the promotional schedule continues to grow, the BlueClaws have released some exciting new events and giveaways as well as the return of some favorites to FirstEnergy Park.
Once again Mondays are Kids Eat Free and Tuesdays are Seniors Eat Free, along with Baseball Bingo, this season. Every Friday night home game will be followed by fireworks from Toyota & Scion World of Lakewood.
The Famous Chicken, the ZOOperstars! and, of course, the Phillie Phanatic will all return to FirstEnergy Park in 2008 and wrestling legend Mick Foley will be at the BlueClaws game on June 21 to entertain the crowd and sign autographs.
Mike Zagursky will be immortalized in bobblehead form on July 29 and there will be future bobbleheads added to the schedule. Giveaways include: oversized baseball cards, kids camouflage hats, seat cushions and baseball yo-yos.
