Golden Baseball League
FULLERTON, CA (November 17, 2007): The Golden Baseball Leauge has awarded the Orange County Flyers with the 2008 All Star Game. Back after a one year hiatus the 2nd Annual GBL All Star Game is sure to excite the GBL Fans and Flyers Fans from all over. Season Ticket holders will recieve a free ticket to the special game for each season ticket they hold.
The game is scheduled to be played on Tuesday, July 15th 2008 on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. The Flyers front office is already making plans to make this event the talk of the town.
"We are excited that the GBL has given the Flyers the honor of hosting the All Star Game in Orange County. We plan on making this one of the Independent Minor leagues best All Star Games around", said President and Owner Alan Mintz. Also showing his love for the team stated "I hope we (the Flyers) are well represented on the field too!".
The game will be North vs. South and pit the GBL's best against each other in front of a packed house and there are sure to be many scouts on hand for this game. Having had 15 players signed to major league clubs this past season the GBL always has great talent!
Individual Tickets for the OC Flyers go on sale on March 1, 2008 (That includes the All Star Game). Season Tickets are currently on sale and mini plans go on sale in January.
